Does anyone else have a hard time finding a teaching position? I got a last-minute, one-year contract position, hoping it would get my foot in the door. Despite all positive feedback from my principal and coworkers and great TPEP, I did not get re-hired the next year, and didn't even get an interview at the same district this year. Other people who have worked at the district for years as paras get their teaching certificate, then can't get teaching positions either.

Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?
