Hi Team,
I gave and cleared all the rounds for TCS. Post that they asked me to update my documents on their portal, which i did last week.
But till now i am yet to receive the offer letter from their side.
Can someone guide me on this?? Is it normal to take this much of time? Tata Consultancy

Hi Fishes,
I resigned from TCS in August and in another 18 days it's my LWD with TCS, now i got call from my lead saying they will provide canada onsite opportunity and he said he has multiple projects at onsite which he can give me, some are saying it's just a gimmick to retain you nothing else, my DM asked me to say yes or no by tomorrow so that he can start the process he said once i get approval mail then only i can take back my resignation. Do you think i can believe my DM? Tata Consultancy Infosys

Helpful if you are in a lot debt and have spending issues.
I know people who have turned their life around with his techniques but it takes a lot of discipline. It's a whole lifestyle change.
I feel like that’s what you need to make it stick. It’s also the only thing guaranteed to work: spend less money. Lol
He's an idiot.
I follow him on IG and have an old copy of his book I’m reading. Not bad at all. He can come off as arrogant or rude at times but it’s kind of a tough love approach
I've tried his methods, and it just hasn't worked for me. I don't follow him anymore because of it. Anyone else feel his ideas are a little outdated?
I think his methods can work but it’s just hard being disciplined enough to follow them and the less income you have the harder it is to be disciplined enough to follow his methods.
I don’t think his methods are as feasible when you’re young and not making much and don’t want to be a penny pincher and enjoy life.
Even now that I am making more money than when I was fresh out of school I have a hard time throwing much of my disposable income at debt that I’ll probably rack up when I run low on cash.
I also think credit cards and other debt do have benefits if utilized properly.
A bit extreme.
Agreed. Like don't spend a single dollar. Sell everything you own. Live in a cardboard box. Make more money. Its not that hard!
I think his ideas are good. I try to follow them. However, as Attorney 1 said, when you don’t make a lot to begin with, it’s really hard to stay on track. I like Suze Orman. I feel that she has a much more modernized approach for the young person.
Thanks! Will check her out. I think Ramsey is too outdated.
