I have a degree in Marketing that I wasn’t able to use in a corporate setting. My corporate roles consist of Consumer Lending and Commercial. I’m ready to pivot but I’m not sure which direction. Got an offer for a great brand side role. Great compensation. Interesting company. Should open doors in the future. but the title is very Junior. I shouldn't dwell on that, right? It's the only thing that has me scratching me head, but I shouldn't be, right?

Is “detail oriented” a lost skillset with the incoming workforce? How do you train a junior person to pay acute attention to details? Coordinators have always been the last line of defense as social content goes out the door, or as social calendars are prepared for review by client. The coordinators in the mid 20s that I’ve been hiring, despite impressive graduate programs and other jobs, have had no ability to catch typos, errors, or make sure 2 things match. Did a round of brand side interviews with a senior level team and want to write a thank you note that doesn’t come across too thirsty. What would a senior person appreciate in a note if they got one? They have all been there 10 plus years. Just thank for their times and reiterate what value I can bring to the role? Agency side is so lax I haven’t had to write one my last few jobs 😓
