During my job search, I have started wondering whether listing every skill I have ever touched is actually helping. A long skills section may improve visibility, but it can also make it harder for recruiters to identify what I genuinely use and can confidently discuss in an interview. Sometimes clarity may be more valuable than quantity. Do you think resumes should emphasize depth of experience over the number of skills listed?

Anybody have any advice for someone with experience in Provider Relations who is looking to move into Network Contracting. I have plenty of experience working with provider networks but have been unsuccessful in landing a role after a few interviews.

I had interviewed externally for a role on par w the internal roles, at a smaller and less established company. They confirmed +20% was in their range

How do I push back on my company if they offer less than that, if I do want one of those roles? Without a pay scale, what is the best way to approach?

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.
