Ever get annoyed when your friends/acquaintances at FAANG say you should probably apply to SM role than the PPM role because they think PPM is too far out for them? Like why do they ask you to apply to a smaller role when you know you’re 100% capable of the PPM because working with D as a Manager about to become SM might mean you already might’ve meant you dealt with more challenges and trends in the market? Or, is it just me?

If I’m 2nd year looking to transition to a financial analyst position should I apply to the position for a new college grad or the senior position that wants 5+ YOE?

I’ve been teaching inclusion for 5 years so I’m still a newb, but a first year coworker of mine said she got points off on her observation because her kids were scattered in the classroom and she was having to move from kid to kid to assist. While I see the point of putting them together for convenience, I don’t agree with this at all! To me this is like singling them out by putting them all together instead of INCLUDED amongst peers.
