EY friend is currently interviewing for a digital grid sr con position. What base can he expect? Recruiter said they can go as high as 145k. Seems higher than what you would expect - want to make sure this is a manageable expectation to set. Also they mentioned a panel interview - I’ve never heard of that!

Relatively new in Big4 M&A advisory doing mostly integration work with some pre deal DD mixed in. I recently heard L.E.K. Consulting places well in MM PE but don't know much about them otherwise. Was interested if anyone had insight into whether a jump to their M&A or PE groups would be possible. In terms of background, I have an undergrad business degree from a T20 school and graduated a T14 law school as well.
