Currently at $200K base salary (31M) - after taxes, expenses (including vaca), and savings (maxed out 401K), I’m leftover with $30k-$40k. Is this average? If not, how are ppl saving more?

Current TC: 88k (83k base, 5k performance bonus), 3 YoE. Healthcare specific domain consultant. Looking to get into strategy work. Offer at strategy firm is 95k base pre-negotiation . I honestly struggle with the politics of Afghanistan. It does appear that after 20 years we leave and within months it goes back to very similar or on its way. Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.

I have no plans in leaving PA anytime soon but I figure maybe I should look into another certification that holds value and makes me more marketable compared to my peers. Appreciate any thoughts and advice.
