Not a female golfer, but I have gotten blisters before primarily on my pointer finger. I’ve started wrapping some medical tape around my finger prior to going in my glove.
Anything I have around with some kind of elasticity and not too bulky. Recently I’ve been using KT tape because I found a box of it
When you say pairs, are you wearing on both hands? If so, I might recommend only wearing one to see if that helps. The few times I’ve worn two (rain or cold weather gloves) it’s been uncomfortable.
A lot of the lower cost gloves are made of synthetic material which have harder seams. I’ve found gloves made of Cabretta leather tend to rub less, but fit is also important. They need to be very snug so that they can’t rub, so you’re idea of trying youth sizing could work, but might limit your options.
There are a couple of places that will make custom gloves as a last resort, but will be pricey
I stick with FJ sta sof - they’re the best
Recommend sizing down on gloves and seeing if that works. Loose material will cause blisters
This is a great advice. My issue was that I already was S ladies size. I got M youth lately. Works well so far
Lady golfer here. Stopped wearing a glove. Regardless of size and brand, they rub and caused me to do the death grip. Driving 30 yards longer and no slice since losing the glove.
I like the footjoy sta soft and I get youth size large. The smallest ladies size is too big and stretches out to way too big.
I am the author, and I have about 6 pairs of gloves now :) the one that works for me is actually footjoy raingrip. It’s not leather, so it doesn’t stretch, and it’s softer
Not a lady either but Lot of new brands of golf gloves I see. GFore seems to be popular with the ladies. For me I love my titliest players. The leather is soft and doesn’t irritate the skin. Blisters can be from gripping too tight not necessarily the glove.
My blisters are from gloves, I have somewhat thin fingers (Xs glove size) and the stitching tend to rub my left thumb and right pinkie.
What kind of glove are you using currently?
Gosh, I have like 9 pairs from all brands. Callaway was the best until it stretched. My size is XS. I’m thinking of trying kids sizes
