For those considering leaving the classroom, don't. I have ruined my life and money trying to do it. The truth is I will never be hired again. I've had one interview in 8 months. One. Next month I will have to apply for early retirement so I can access my pension as I can't pay rent. I'm currently driving for Lyft to carve out a little money but it is brutal, unsafe and not financially viable in any way. I'm up at 3:00 am everyday to drive people to the airport. 6 hours for $82. Before taxes.

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction.
