For those of you an AICPA member, are you enrolled in any of their life insurance offerings? If so, which one and state your age and family situation (single, married with kids etc). If you aren’t enrolled, why not?

I have two young kids and am 32 and their plans look pretty reasonable with term plans up to $2.5m in coverage so am considering the term or level-term plans but honestly don’t know a lot about what other 30 somethings are doing.

One of my friend was asked to resign because she got pregnant . They specifically told her that they have strict policies and need complete commitment and you are not fit for the current role owing to your health. They have a king rule from management side and treat their employees as daily wage labor . Very bad HR and management

As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). Clearly it’s a cost cutting measure. Anyone else feel like filing for telephonic appearance so the insurance company can save a buck isn’t going to sit well with judges who prefer in person attendance? I hope they deny all of them so my billables don’t suffer. Less travel = more desk bs I have to do to hit quota

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child?
