For those who have been actively job hunting the past 3 months, how’s the job market right now? What’s your experience been like so far? With the layoffs I cooled my jets on even applying elsewhere.

I’m ready for a change have been at the same company for 3 years but my jobs secure, I’m paid well and I like my co workers. There are still a lot of cons and think leaving would be healthy, just don’t want to jeopardize my current gig if things are unstable as it seems.

Just getting little depressed after being rejected from interview. Anyone else has the same feeling.Could have done better.

I am an Senior iOS developer. YOE is 8.5. Currently getting 13 LPA. Getting promotion in a month with 25 to 30 percent hike which comes nearly 16.8 LPA. I cannot able to relocate now due to family dependency reasons. I heard iOS developer salary market is good. I am having a very good work life balance in the current company. I am in a confusion. Should I look for opportunities with PWFM or stay in current company? Am I making low pay as per market trends?

I have an app idea whose core functionality depends on the user’s GPS location. I’d need to ask the user to allow the location service to be ‘always on’ for the app. I’m concerned that this might negatively impact user adoption.

Her status in the US is currently complicated and she doesn’t have a green card(tho she’s working on it), my wife(her daughter) is American.

I want to report this to the FBI’s elder fraud department but I don’t want to complicate her situation even more.

Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath. Right so here’s a bit of a dilemma I work to a much higher standard at home and it’s this high standard that means I’m in line for a promotion. I’ve grown so much and I feel really strong in my role I’m also busier than ever. The problem is we’re going back into the office and I don’t want to go in if it’s just going to be senior management in asking me to get them lunches for client meetings or fetch a glass of water and cutlery for meeting rooms. Definitely not ready to go back to that….
