I don’t think it is a bubble in that it will “burst” but I do think there will be a correction in the next 18 months as supply catches up and interest rates tick back up.
Consider renting your home out in SD to keep building equity and use the cash flow to subsidize your SF rent
D1 there’s a sizable camp of folks (ex. Goldman Sachs) who don’t think the supply would catch up to the demand anytime soon. ‘08 crisis made a lot of builders reluctant to flood the market and risk over-supply.
Would you call 2006/2007 a bubble? Seems like 2009-12 was an inverted bubble more than anything else.
