Good morning. I have a second interview with the MFSA manager at Merrill to internally move to that role. I am currently an EGP (wealth management specialist) with about 2 years experience with Merrill and about 5 years in the industry. I have my 7, 66, insurance/annuity and CRPC. Is the MFSA program my best option to move towards a higher salary/FA role or should I be exploring different options? Could be internally or externally. Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.
