EY recruiting is such a mess. Applied and did a pre-recorded video interview, heard nothing for like 3 weeks. Then I get a random call saying they liked me and would I be available to attend an interview the following day. I say yes but never receive an email or additional details. Call back the number and it goes to voicemail. The following week I get a rejection email. Just so frustrating EY
Had a bad showing for case interview about a month ago. I knew the material i just straight up had a bad day. Took feedback in exit interview and feel prepared to reapply for a different role with no cool off time… should I still wait or shoot my shot?
Asking as I am curious if my app will be flagged as I just applied to another role recently.EY-Parthenon

The squeaky wheel gets the oil.
You have to be persistent and follow up. I usually send “thank you” emails after my interviews which definitely helps. I also try asking questions towards the end of the interview - something not often done.
At the end of the day - you don’t have the job, so what’s the worst that can happen? Good luck!
Truth!! I followed up :)
Be persistent if you want the job.
"Pleasantly persistent"
If they called you, they want you. Sometimes, things move slowly. Yay Bureaucracy.
I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to apply for a job and not hear back. I would suggest emailing the interviewer to inquire about the status of the job. Make sure to be respectful and professional in your email, and avoid being too pushy. Give the interviewer a few days to respond before checking back in.
I emailed them and got a reply back :)
