Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

Hell no. Pull your hair up in a bun and make sure your beard is trimmed nicely and you should be fine
That's already what I do. Happy to hear that. Thanks
It’s 2019 my guy, you should be fine.
No, just look like you groom yourself. There's nothing wrong with beards and all these days, just don't look like a mountain man who might have a squirrel living in your hair.
PriceWaterhouseCoopers may have, but 2019 PwC that is trying hard to be relevant in the digital age will not.
Also no way a company can discriminate as some don’t cut hair or shave for religious purposes.
Honestly if people are stereotyping, pwc may not be right firm for you
Welcome to PwC Jesus
Pls make sure to submit your timesheets in due course
Shave your beard and be somebody
If you want the job why risk it. Cut your hair.
Nah, a job isn’t worth giving up your identity
OP - Im also in the same boat as you with a potential offer. All my interviews were calls as well!
Actually, the partners I work with would look down on this. I keep my beard just stubble and was told to shave it multiple times.
There’s no official way they can penalize you for your appearance, but there are a TON of unofficial ways.
I would either clean up or rethink PwC. (Which is a whole other conversation. Things are not good here, especially in Tech)
Tell them it's for no shave November!
I wouldn’t want to work on a company that select the people based on beard and long hair (obviously you need to look tidy)
All of my account profile pictures are old pictures of me with a bald head and clean shaven, oversight on my part that they haven't been updated. Accenture doesn't have an issue with my beard or hair, I'm just wondering if PwC will.
No!!
