Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

I was let go as a JR.,6 weeks after joining the agency...they said it was something about the account not having money haha but I was fresh outta college and likely had no idea what I was doing. 🤷♀️
It happens to all of us, chalk it up to a learning moment and don’t get discouraged.
*AAEs are wonderful! Thank you for always putting together & printing out the hot sheet, emailing me billing codes, setting up meetings, and supporting the day-to-day of the account people. 🙏 I appreciate you!
Really? As an AAE? Yikes. What happened? They usually don’t fire entry level because you’re not expensive. Was it something particular?
What agency fires a AAE?! Sorry to hear that
Been there. It may sting for a while. You also might get lucky and find something better that pays more. Here’s to the latter friend. Hang in there.
I’ve been there. It sucks, but now you now what your strengths and weaknesses are. Go forth and get an even better job after a few days of decompressing. Sign up for unemployment ASAP since it takes time to process
It means there’s a way better place for you to be. Rejoice that it didn’t hijack a minute more of your precious life.
🍺
Better to feel the sting of a layoff early in your career than late like myself. It’s been 2 years and I’m still a bit bitter about the situation. As Its one of the worst things that can happen to you professionally you’ll learn from it and see the signs earlier next time.
Fired or laid off?
@AD2 your comment about AAEs made me smile so thank you for that. @OP watch out, in 20 years you’ll be more successful than all of us on this thread
Getting fired as an assistant takes some special skills. You might just be better equipped for a better agency.
Omg that sucks dude. How did they tell you? How long were you there?
Sorry AAE. Feeling for ya. Been there. It’s temporary though, keep on keepin on and you’ll look back and realize you didn’t want to be there anyway.
I feel you OP happened to me too. But we'll get through it. I'm still not over it.
OP, you okay?
