I got an offer from IBM gurgaon, but the manager said the project will be assigned later when you join. What shall i conclude from this that they are hiring to manage resource pool?

Recruiter said the numbers are locked. I couldn’t reach the HM. Running out of time I accepted. I contacted the HM again saying yay! I accepted. I Have been ghosted for 5 days. Recruiter said background check should come via email soon. Haven’t seen anything. Weirdest experience ever. Why wouldn’t the HM reply?

I've always operated off the standard that I would give any role a year. Meaning, if the job isn't what I expected or culture is a bit 'meh', I'll give it a go a year.
