I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Former Googler here. Lasted a year. Hated it. Engineers run the show. If you’re not an engineer, you’re nothing and therefore get no support. You couldn’t pay me enough to go back there

Also consider the value of the travel perks that come with consulting and bake that into any salary requests you make of an industry position.
I have an interview with the google biz ops group next week. Is anyone familiar with this area? I’m also in HC.
I haven’t....but, I would request the same as any other consultant, take in mind the cost of living.
Isn’t it something like 120k base with total comp around 160-170?
I'm in the same boat... I work in consulting too and am in process for people ops position but no idea on what to ask for compensation... I think 125k but I honestly have no idea as I don't know where an analyst falls for them...
What roles within people ops? Like what specifically within HR is paying this ballpark money?
