My work is good and my experience and level of work is completely senior. Been getting offer from way better places for senior roles. I was honestly just networking for future in case she went somewhere cool. She even said: “maybe we can talk when you are actually a senior” then hang up.
Any recruiter who would treat you that way only has a job because the agency they work for is too incompetent to know not to hire them.

Nah. She is just a bad recruiter and an even worst person. How do we allow as creatives to have recruiters have so much power over us? They need good talent more than we need them.

I’m not affected by it. I’m more concerned about agencies hiring people who don’t respect other people. It was simply a commentary. We are guilty of allowing this to keep happening. I know my value but new people in the industry who are still looking for that value can be discouraged and feel upset about this. People like her should be taken out of their positions. Respect should be the one thing every single position in any industry should include.
