Had it with the McKinsey 401k - such a bad implementation with minimal flexibility. Looking to rollover to. Adele directed IRA and exploring Merrill (where I have personal brokerage) or Fidelity (where I have current company LTI and 401k plans.) Any thought on pros and cons of each?

McK doesn't do a match

Hello

Are you still at McKinsey? If so you may not be able to roll outside the 401k

McKinsey alum. At the time I left it was a direct contribution percentage regardless of what you contribute. I can rollover no issues

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

Tax question: Say I am due to owe $50k in capital gains in 2021. What’s to stop me from going out and buying a Tesla and renting it out on Turo for $1,500 per month. I then use bonus depreciation to write off the full expense of the car in year 1, negating the $50k in capital gains owed.

Does anyone here freelance on the side? How do you price yourself? I work in data science and so my w2 pays me $300k so around $150hr when broken down to hourly. Can I reasonably do the same work on the side through freelancing basing the project cost around $300hr? I just want to create an additional income stream since I was growing my real estate business for these past few years and now I’m waiting and saving for future opportunities and I’m bored and would like to increase my cash more.
