Transition from Compliance to Risk ? I work for major brokerage in compliance. I’ve been in this field almost 5 years. The person I work with made me absolutely hate my job and every day for past few months is soul destroying. He doesn’t share project work with me, he re writes my notes. I raised it with manager few times but not much happened. Never knew someone so difficult . Now risk wants to poach me to retain me in business.Am I crazy to even consider this ??

Anyone heard of good agencies in Bend,OR?
Dangerous game. If it backfires, the toll the client can take on the agency is extensive. Inept and incompetent is bad. Inept, incompetent and out to get you is worse.
I think from upper management’s perspective, the only client that’s incompetent is the one who doesn’t pay.
It takes mad skill and partnering from different agency skill sets, but it can be done. If the account team is super smart about how they approach it, it's doable. I've seen it done.
We came close to getting them fired. She was forced out by her manager (our main client)
Do you mean an individual on the client team or a company/account as a whole?
No. but one agency that worked fired an asshole account just for the client to hire him and we still had to deal with the idiot.
ah. A client also asked the agency to fire the account director because she was a woman and too young to handle the account. She was actually a brilliant professional... they never had any problem with the account. Was purely arbitrary. The agency off course relocated her to something else instead of firing her. Years later same client told the agency that would not work with the new account director. Note that he being a male they didn't ask to fire him.
I've convinced my then-agency to resign an account. Just heard from the CEO of that firm that the client still owes them money 8 years later. And the money wasn't the biggest issue I had with them - they withheld really important information that compromised my relationships with critical media.
I've witnessed agency firing client/account as well. Over money and repeated misdirection then blaming agency for doing it wrong/off strategy, then changing direction again and again. Profound waste of time and money.
Never seen the orchestration of a firing of a specific person on the client team.
