No, I have few family members who did cross continent and they are all safe
Not long haul but been on a few cross country and 20 flights total since it started. Traveled with my wife and toddler every time and we're all safe. You're fine. Don't listen to the fear mongering.

Are you not in the US? Because I've had Covid (and lost my sense of taste and smell completely for 7 weeks) and whike that sucked, I considered myself lucky not to die.
I flew to Germany and back in June. Nothing happened. I wore an N95 and flew Delta (they blocked the middle seats). Couple of my friends flew as well very recent. They’re all happy and healthy!
I’ve taken five flights so far, including a 13-hour flight from SFO to IST (albeit in business class). Didn’t get covid and the transatlantic flight was fairly empty (as many international ones are). I board last, wear an N95 the whole time, and ask at check-in for a seat away from others. Business class award availability is quite good right now too. Domestically, it may easier to be away from people in economy, but most airlines have moved to longhaul business class seats where every seat is lieflat and has aisle access, and some even have closing doors, so they’re quite separated from other seats, reducing transmission risk.

Flew London to LA. I’m fine.
