Has anyone here made to switch to industry on the financial side from risk? (currently in business risk, not IT) I'm not 100% sure if I enjoy the work I'm doing and a part of me wants to go to industry after my senior promo. Definitely don't want to go back to external audit and currently working on getting my CPA exams done.

Okayy. If you come to banking you wouldn’t need your cPA. But you’d def enjoy. Wlb is great, comp etc

I’m on the opposite! Trying to switch from risk to fs, what do you not enjoy?

I think you could definitely make the switch...external audit is not easy tbh. You won't need the CPA if you go industry-side though, just something to consider
