Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

PPMD are the most powerful people for everything else but, compensation. They are a wuss and self pitying pussies when it comes to compensations - you'll think you never met a more helpless soul
The fact is, we are not given the power to change comp even if we agree with you. We are given the understanding of why is was what it was and we give feedback when we have unhappy people but we don't get to dictate a comp change just because someone thinks they deserve more. If we were, most of the firm would be asking for more.
Don't expect change in $$$ just sympathies
Hahah well I did request the call..and it's set up with my office partner on Thursday. I think they can at least give bonus. Looking for anyone who has requested this convo too and any insight is appreciated
Out of cycle pay changes are very tough to push through. The system is basically structured so that, if you have expectations of salary, you have to have that conversation when no one thinks to do it - right after you get your rating.
I agree with everyone that the firm handles comp in a manner that limits any changes outside of cycle. To make changes to your comp or bonus you likely need to look outside the firm at other firms or look at industry. Have a friend who just left for a role and comp was 30% higher and also received six figure signing bonus and bonus of 75% of base. And stock. Options exist.
I had two calls with different PMDs already and nothing.
^not even sympathy
Thank you p1. Situation is basically I moved to an office with lower cost of living so even though good marks and 90% util, got wrecked with a 1.8% raise lol...thought I could maybe negotiate a bonus or something. Guess I should be positive and move on huh
Any luck D7?
D 11 the call got rescheduled. But I have one offer in hand and am awaiting another offer to come Monday.
Same here! Thursday

It's possible to get a midterm adjustment in the rarest of cases... i.e. You really are significantly under market value and you have several ppds within the compensation decision makers who support you. Your group also has to be doing very well against plan in the new year
I have a call scheduled for Thursday, I am going in with a offer in hand from another firm. We'll see if they want to match.
I was really hoping a possible change could take place when I have my call...this thread woke me ip
HR is the worst at pretty much any firm. Very little chance to get anything because the often end the convo with pointing to the fact that your salary is competitive and that's it
Agreed with everyone's assessment. One thing to add is to express frustration that your base is what it is and that you'll need to look elsewhere if that doesn't improve. Flight risks are taken seriously, at least if you're good, and if you really would leave. You won't get anything right away but it may help in the subsequent year if you're willing to wait.
I still haven't been scheduled
