Has anyone seriously considered and maybe even gone through with taking a job that pays significantly less but comes with less stress and a better work life balance? And if you did, how did it turn out? Bills are bad but so is my health, I am being stressed and overworked to the point where I don't have the time or energy to exercise and I also buy more expensive and less healthy food out, because I'm also not cooking and meal prepping. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this concern.

I don’t think my friend has quarantined long enough to be sitting with 6 people driving in a van to our location unmasked as well as in the hotel room. Would you go on this trip?

Do you pay out of pocket on insurance premiums at your firm? My wife may leave her job to stay home and we’re on her insurance. My firm told me we’re $750/pay period or $18k/yr. that sounds absurd.

Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? I'm in a litigation, about 9 months in. Is it normal that I spend majority of my time making bundles for my partners (printing, binding, moving docs in a different order whenever there are new documents or he wants to add stuff) reviewing documents and making tables (e.g. dates, which documents are from where), and the only legal work is like notices of admission, list of documents, the occasional research? I'm so bored and I want to quit but I don't know if I have unrealistic expectations.
