Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.
Forza Ferrari! Let’s go!! 1-2 in Round 2!

I'm a huge fan of freelance first both as an employee and employer. Creative Circle though? Good advice above and all over Fishbowl.
PS, if you freelance first, chances are you'll be able to 1. Pull overtime, 2. Convince everyone you're indispensable before pulling the trigger on your salary, which means better negotiation terms. You can make it work. I did.
No one I know uses CC. Search Fishbowl and you’ll learn why
I know all about it. It’s not Creative Circus I’m dealing with but a similar company. I swore years ago I’d never deal with a company like that again. But one year out of work, minimal freelance, and LinkedIn response to post later, I’m stuck dealing with this company. Trying to survive out here.
Same here. It’s tough out there
Yup, plenty of times. If you HAVE to work with Creative Circle, work their system on your terms and they will reward you. That means: push what you can. Terms, offsite/on site. Overtime. Etc.
For full time positions etc, they encourage you to negotiate as you would with any position. Your buyout may make negotiation more difficult but it's worth the ask, I always think.
