Has anyone successfully recovered a diminished value claim from a major insurance company? My son was rear ended in a snow storm this week up in the mountains. His car is 5 months old. At fault driver with State Farm. Anyone gotten money for this?

My parent has a star health policy for which the renewal premium is drastically increasing (almost by 50%) every year at age 51.
With such increase I do not think it will be viable for long term. So planning to switch/port.

Is it just me or do people drive like maniacs in the Denver metro? Constant tailgating no matter what the speed limit or if there’s traffic or construction.
