As I’ve said a hundred times, it’s coming for us all. This is going to work really well from a cost cutting standpoint. Fantastic deal
Awesome opportunity as an employee. Keep your healthcare (I assume), get a little salary, opportunity to exercise some options without giving 50% to the govt, try out retirement, start a hobby, enjoy life. Wow awesome.
We offer this as well...

It’s true but with caveats. 8 week min (not until January), and must use all accrued vacation balance before being able to do this
Doing it too. 8 weeks of at 20% pay, was planning to do 4 weeks anyway because I have a child on the way but I extended to 8 with that deal
It varies based on your level ranging from 12 to 20 %
Not true, it’s a flat 20%
Heard that people are getting paid 20% of salary to take leave before January
Such a consultant to repeat what had already been said in a different way. Even funnier because it was your own post you did it to
I don’t think it’s true. My friends there told me they are extremely busy.
Sounds just like sabbatical... doesn’t every firm offer some variation of that?
It didn’t. We’ve also offered Time For You, which is 8 weeks unpaid leave with full benefits. Pretty sweat deal, and the 20% is sweeter.
EY has a fairly similar program- 8 weeks minim @25%, but must be approved and requires a business case. They’ve already done a round back in June and may do another one- spots were limited.

You mean additional 20% salary per leave?
Can you explain in a little more detail?
I just left there and it is true, it’s an 8 week min leave with 20% pay (not 120% lol like one of the above poster mentioned). Originally started as only COVID related only now it’s no questions asked!

So... capacity management.
