Having second-thoughts if I should make a career switch out of creative field. I really love the creative side of work and varieties of projects but it is just overworked in most places, running a rat race yet undervalued in overall.

As compared to e.g. government side of work where there's at least compensation to any OTs or ability to knock off on time. You can mentally switch off after work as compared to being a creative that's constantly churning.

Any professional advice or thoughts?

Got a verbal offer from the Partner. He wants to bring me in and asked my expectations. I told him a 140K with Manager position. The role was for a senior with probably a lower comp range but he said we can work it around and will talk to the recruiter.

How should I be negotiating?

Recently was informed that my salary will be increasing and was asked to sign a Confidentiality and Assignment of Inventions Agreement.
