So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

I tracked it. 300 sounds right. Take the availability report and copy and paste the emails into outlook and mark which ones were Undeliverable.
Sure some people left by themselves, but I tracked it on a daily basis so you could tell the layoffs based on when a massive amount of people left on a specific day, especially when they left on Monday to Thursday instead of Froday.
How did you pass your case interview 😂
Divide by 10 and you're still too high.
I heard from a partner it was about 300 total people laid off
Too high
Yeah it certainly seems like and unsubstantiated rumor, it's just the person who told me is a friend of mine and not one to exaggerate or perpetuate garbage. that's why I was taken by surprise.
Well PwC is facing some challenges. Have you accounted for all the variables D?
Or is this the D analyst class? If it's D, the D people ought to know.
If it was 30% people would know about it by now
Considering the variables, it still seems high. I'm not a PPD so I may not have the vantage point to definitively say so, but I know there were no "lay offs" in HC so there would have to be a much higher percentage in S&O to get to 30%
30% of the commercial S&O consultant level was laid off. Which is only about 50-60 people.
^ Sorry, Commercial S&O BA -> C promotes in an analyst class but not Direct industry hires. Most people leave for GSAP/Industry at that point anyway.
Yeah it was about 30% of analyst class. About 20% of consultant level
What percentage of SC were laid off?
Wow D4. Interesting analysis!
