Anyone have any advice or insight on interviewing for a GS General Attorney position? I’m really excited and working to prepare for an interview I’ve been offered. So I have been on the bench now for 5 weeks and I am starting to get worried that it’s because I am doing something wrong. I am seeing other people staffed in projects but not me. I have spoken to my mentor about this but they keep saying they will staff me on the next one, they are just waiting for the client to give the green signal. What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

I have my last day at employer A right before thanksgiving and will be covered on their health insurance through 11/30.
