Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

But I'll share. I hope sharing my pain with you all will help myself. 🥲

Can anyone suggest me in career growth?
If you are from a tech background, start studying for Data Structures and Algorithms. The software industry is so open for entry level roles such that 15-25 lpa is being common for top tier companies or start-ups.
Find your groove, and work your ass off for the next 1 year. You'll see the difference later.
PS: Try looking out for programs like Coding Blocks, Coding ninjas or Scalar Academy if you don't have budget constraints. Otherwise the internet is your guide my friend.

Great. I am also looking to move into that profile.
I have worked myself in Deloitte & my close friend and his wife are currently in KPMG & EY respectively.
KPMG has more variable component which would then be dependent on your performance.
Ultimately, it is your choice. For some people, money matters & for some, it is the team & the work-life balance.
So choose wisely.

I am from no name MBA colg and literally had my MBA for free, so no complaints as my in-hand pay goes to account and no loans to pay off .
D s&o peeps mostly have btech + workex + MBA(ISB, IIM BLacki) + 2 years to clock 22-25 so I guess I ain't losing much coz I am grad from DU three year course + MBA with no gap.
Also going by the lifestyle I had in DU, even being in consulting is enough. I went there as school topper and came out just trying to save my ass from backlogs and you are comparing me to IITIans, NITians who first prepare for JEE and then start CAT and here I was drinking and smoking in my flat days in and out in first year itself.
Answering your question I am in US based profile!
