How do I deal with a parent who has become bitter and shrewd as they age? It’s exhausting and disheartening to be around because they used to be positive and happy. I love my SO but get unsure....they just went on a friends trip and came back and randomly said going on another one in two weeks. My husband repeatedly claims domestic abuse falsely, and it’s getting too much. Now that I have kids he has started saying this to them and they say it back to me.
