I’m working in analytics with some currently in Python and R, and some AWS exposure with the cloud fundamentals cert (which doesn’t mean much I know 😂) and would be looking for a similar data-focussed role.

I helped during the concepting phase, was responsible for keeping the boards up to date, and wrote a lot of the supporting materials (print, social etc) but obviously I was not on the shoot or the lead on writing the script. I am about get offer letter from Fynd(Shopsense retail) for QA engineer. I have 1.5 years of experience and my current CTC is 6LPA, what should I ask for this role in fynd?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

I lateraled from a small firm to regional big law last year. I was told that my offer was commensurate with class year (5th year). The firm recently increased first year salary, with a 5% increase for all other attorneys. My original salary was equal to the new first year salary. The difference between my new salary and a first year is now $10k. I think it is fairly obvious that the hiring partner was not truthful with me. How would you address this? Is another lateral move my only option?

Does having planned time off nullify a full time employee’s ability to use the C19 sick leave if they become sick just prior to the planned time off? Recently, the CEO and my boss, the VP gave me the latitude to promote myself and "write my own" job description. I've been the Marketing Manager of this company for about 7 months. Already received 1 raise.
