Until last year I was at a large firm. Generous salary ($120k+), firm paid 75% of healthcare costs, 8-10-% profit sharing/401k distribution each year, and a $8-12k bonus annually.
I’ve since moved in-house at a private equity firm. Salary is $145k+; 20% bonus with 4-5% pay increase each year, firm pays 50% of healthcare, firm matches up to 4% of your salary for 401k and a $8-10k profit sharing distraction.

Small PI firm-3 attys and 3 para. Health ins reimbursed at end of each month up to the QSEHRA requirements (<$500), 3% match IRA, end of year bonuses have been $3-6k. Sometimes we’ll get a just because bonus of like $1-2.5k but that’s really only happened 2-3 times in 6 years.
Started at 45k, now at 60k 6 years later
Growing firm with about 500 employees. Been here for almost 3 months and I have 3 and a half yrs experience. We have health insurance, dental, vision and mental health counseling (free). Also have teledoc for free. 401k after 1 year being with firm at 3% match. We have incentives based on how many mediations we schedule, Keeping our task list down and how many cases we settled. We get one floating holiday a year along with the regular federal holidays. We can also get pto as an incentive separate from the 10 days we already get. STD and LTD are 100% paid for by firm. Free parking. I think that’s it.
I’m in house at a start up. Only paralegal in the company. 100% of health insurance premium paid on the HDHP plan. 5% 401k match, immediately vesting. No bonus. Option grants in the company. Completely flexible wfh - I only come in when I’m needed for a specific purpose.
Downside for me is crappy mat leave - only 1 month paid + 6 weeks disability. My last firm had 6 months.
Large firm, I'm not sure what the health insurance contribution is, since I'm on my husband's because his company fully covers it. I get 1% 401k match and annual bonus between $1000 to $1500.
Work in house (been here for a year, 6 years of experience total) 105k base. 10-15k bonus and 5-10k long term stocks. 5-10% raises. 401k match up to 15k a year. 5k tuition reimbursement a year. 10 dollar benefit credit a paycheck. Health insurance varies as people can pick kaiser, or blue shield. If picking blue shield it is 100% covered. ESPP plans.
