This is a question about friendships. Two friends got into a really bad fight this past weekend. They have each asked me to hang out this weekend. What do I do? I don’t want to have to choose sides. The other I’ve known less longer, but we seem more compatible. Advice??

The biggest thing I keep running and running around my head- after 8 months, why did he drop me? When he texted ending it l….it wasn’t me, like we weren’t us, his words were from someone else, like I didn’t matter. Do you think using “him/her” for “he/she” (ex: “her is playing” “him not here yet”) is something that kids usually grow out of? Or does it need direct intervention? I have 2 students who exhibit this error, who otherwise should be dismissed. Normally I’d just keep them on and work on it alongside other goals, but they don’t have any other goals, and with COVID, and my upcoming maternity leave in March, a more compact caseload would be advantageous.

HELP! 30+ years of teaching Sped and I’m at a loss. 6th grade student in Middle School with Doose syndrome. Prior to MS, the elementary said he never caused problems. Since the 1st day, he is disruptive in class, refuses to work, and is disrespectful. He has a one-on-one para but she is in tears most days because of his behavior. Parents agreed with a behavior plan - he thinks it’s a game. Parents say he is not allowed to be this way at home.
