Hey Team. So I've been consulting a little over a year post MBA - was a Tier 1, up for promotion, doing well but have been on weekend work for the past 8 months.

I think consulting is a fine way to make a living for some folks but I'd like to pivot. The unnecessary fires, people acting like the button breaking on their dashboard is the end of the world... I just can't get into it.

Thoughts on getting CFP when done with CPA (1 test left) and pivoting from audit to personal financial planning? Estates, taxes, savings, etc. Or should I just stick the OG plan and go into industry FP&A when I make senior/CPA?

Currently working at a 3rd year analyst at a major bank. Focusing on Corporate Treasury sales for the first 2 years and most recently in e-commerce product development (payment processor). Looking to transition into a product manager role at a tech company where I can work remotely.

Has anyone had similar experience or has any advice to share?

I'm currently working as an electrical designer in the MEP industry. I really don't like it and I'm working towards a career change which I'm actively applying for and getting certified etc. However, it's been a slow process and I'm currently underpaid where I am so would it be wise to make a lateral move to another MEP firm simply because they offer me more money while I still look for a different job separate from this field? Or just tough it out?

Has anyone ever left finance (or know someone that has) to do something completely different? My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field. I am generally a motivated, high performing person, but I al starting to slip up and care less, b/c my work is not satisfying to me. I know I just sound like a complainer, but does anyone have any advice?

They are all technical. All of them could easily be very technical cloud consultants or cloud engineers.

We get it, ghosting happens. But has it ever happened to you repeatedly by the same person? Cashmere Agency in LA calls me relentlessly and then ghosts me just as relentlessly. I know it would take alot more time and resources to develop but more games sould come with accessibility features like color blind mode and maybe a bullet time for jumps.
