I just wanted to know if anyone has a pulse on graduate hiring in 2023 or outlook for 2024. Despite majoring in banking and finance in Usyd with a distinction average, would being an international student (native english speaker though) hinder me from getting graduate roles in consulting or banking roles

How should I pivot to Wealth Management as a Credit Analyst for a commercial bank? I’ve worked as a credit analyst for about a year after graduating in finance last year. I also interned at a wealth management firm while in college. Any advice is appreciated!

Serious question:

As a Registered Nurse with 11 years sales experience, why am I constantly turned down for healthcare-related sales roles? Yet on the flip side, I've gotten tons of offers in industrial or engineering spaces.

I've worked PRN as a nurse while I've been in sales. All of my sales roles were engineering-based in mechanical tools or chemicals. I've sold into various industries (energy, O&G, aerospace, pharma, HI&I, water treatment, etc). Just looking to get back to my roots.

I am in my second year as a attorney, I was a FL paralegal before law school and would eventually like to end up there again. I am in a very small rural area, pretty much only solos, and no FL solos appear to be hiring/expanding at this time.

Do you think experience as a DA or PD would be valuable, with my eye toward a future in FL? Both for the skills gained, and/or as a resume piece?

Hello, in my previous organisation I worked in development domain (Oracle IAM Tool and Java)and my post was software Engineer, i joined Wipro as project Engineer in April 2022 and was assigned non technical project as an analyst.

I fought my way hard to get released from the project. However my designation is changed as Analyst. Should I ask for change in designation as I know that analyst is non-technical profile? Would my designation impact my future role as well?

First trimester insomnia?
I’m only about 5 weeks, but my sleep schedule has gone off the rail the last three nights. I’m sleepy/drowsy, settled in bed around the same time every night, and yet I cannot fall or stay asleep. I have a white noise machine, comfy bed, cool room.. etc. When I do fall asleep, it’s earlier in the morning and I sleep until 1/1:30pm. This was fine the first few nights since it was the weekend, but it can’t keep up. Anyone else experience this and have any recommendations?

FORM50 fitness? Anyone familiar with them? Looks kind of like power Pilates. They only have a New York (Astoria) studio and a Miami studio. Seems like most of the classes are mostly women, and hot pink themes all around. 🏳️‍⚧️🙋🏻‍♀️ and on hrt for about 18 months, so not presenting full time yet. Whether I present female or male, it’s not an environment I’m likely to pass super well in so wondering about how lgbt welcoming it will be. I’m earning 42.2K p.a They want me to go full time as I am graduating however I don’t know what the base salary for an analyst with 18 months experience would be.
