What did you do before becoming a BDR? For some, it’s their first job out of college, for others, they make the leap from a completely different industry. What did your path look like and what advice would you give to someone looking to make the move?

I want to be in private equity because I want to make a lot of money. I want to be in FAANG because I want to do interesting work but make only slightly more money than I’m making now.

I’m having a lot of trouble figuring out which to pursue.

Has anyone made the transition from sustainability consulting to working in industry? Curious to hear how it went and what role you are. It seems like most corporate sustainability positions are at director or VP level and I’m wondering if that’ll change soon to bring in manager level or below

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First time BDR here 3 months into my role and really struggling to book qualified meetings. The BDR that had my territory last was one of the worst performing on the team and since he inherited a new territory he’s been a top performer. Even my AE’s fully acknowledge how difficult it is to build a good pipeline in this territory. Any advice?
