I work for a firm based in Long Island (Very Expensive area) and am a project manager for my civil engineer department (I am not an engineer). I also handle all marketing & branding for the firm. I handle all client communication and document review, add serve processing, and communication between surveyors & additional vendors. Based off this information, what would be the suggested salary?

Hey fishes, recently got an offer of 245k plus a bonus, but no specificity and at least 3% cost of living annual raise. My current job I make 150k plus a 20% bonus and an annual cost of living raise anywhere from 2-3.5%. Have been in my current position about a year. I've noticed that the engineers keep their mouths shut whenever they're asked for feedback, but when they're alone, they talk about how much they wish they could change management.

Why is that?
