Hi all! Prepping for the SHRM-CP exam in two weeks. I’ve taken a course through SHRM, and worked through the Learning System and books. Any tips for the actual exam? 😊

Take a ton of practice tests. When I took the actual exam I jumped around between the sections. I powered through all of the short answer questions first and then went back to read passages and answer those questions. I passed any for my SHRM-SCP certification on the first try.

I'm in a stand-alone regional role when all other BP's are together the other side of the world aligned vertically.

The business is set up to support vertical streams, so all HR output (data, analytics etc.) is not by regional level, only by vertical.

As the majority of the business is within a similar time zone and all activity is conducted via verticals, I'm left with little influence or ownership, but full accountability for the region.

Any advice on how to improve the situation?
