I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.

Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

I think it is a MAJOR indicator of what life in that organization would be like. So, if you like unreasonable expectations, sudden deadlines, and day-to-day chaos, that might be a place for you...
Some companies use this tactic because they believe it gives them a better feel for the "real person" being interviewed, and not their prepped and ready version. It sucks.
I think they use this tactic as a power play, to only hire desperate candidates.
What?? That's absolutely insane. How unprofessional of them. Assuming you're talking about internal interviews?
It's not internal interviews
I've used recruiters for hiring and for getting jobs for over 12 years and I've never seen the unprofessional behavior I'm seeing now. They don't get back to you when they say they will, they ghost you, they don't even look at your resume or skill stack and match you to even a similar position. I've never seen this level of carelessness before.
Which companies? Like EPAM, TATA, Mahindra? If so, normal!
I've worked for TATA, keep away always from them whenever you can.
