McKinsey & Company Hi everyone, I recently accepted an offer at McKinsey (college hire BA). Can anyone tell me what the typical pay progression is? 2nd and 3rd year BAs, then first year EM? If I have a Master’s, would it be worth it to go get an MBA once I’m eligible? Do you think not having one will hinder me as I progress/if I decide to exit to industry? I’ve also seen it mentioned that McKinsey has been cutting back on some of the perks, could anyone go into further detail please? Thank you

MM shop, inv team role, I did a final round last week (my XXth IV so far) with one of the GPs. I honestly thought it went great. Haven’t heard a thing since though. Recruiter thinks I’m still in it cause of Christmas-Hol.

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?

I have family and friends getting married this fall in weddings delayed because of covid, but I’ll just have started so wanted to get a sense of how realistic taking vacation this fall would be and how to approach taking it (e.g. mention to HR, staffing). It’s the one consistent feedback I get while casing , “to be more structured” I’m there for math ability , business logic , creativity.
