My dad who lives in Asia just announced that he had a medical issue. I’m starting to enter the age where I’m going to take care of him financially. It’s been asked before whether it’s worth it to pay (~$150) to upgrade a 3 hr flight. I generally agree it is not. But what if your two tweenagers bicker nonstop and are complete and total jerks to you all the time and your spouse chooses the “they’ll grow out of it” approach to things so basically you just want 3 hours of alone time. Then is it worth it?

(Note, in this scenario, they are all entirely too naive to realize it isn’t a system comped upgrade.)

Anyone using Edward Jones? Feel like we did a mistake and rolled over all my husbands retirement accounts from different employers and our kids 529 under them Jan 2020. Since then market is down and accounts lost20%. But the fees every month is pretty high around $200. I am worried to move it to fidelity or some other place and manage myself(not very confident), then I have to sell all of the Edward Jones managed funds and buy new. sell low buy low makes sense but don’t want to loose anymore.

2. Evening itself I got call that i was selected and ready to discuss salary.
3. Last year it was under IT raid because of pro particular political party
