Crossroads Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. In terms of reputation, I’d say my current firm is a slight step up. Money wise it’s a large increase (30+%) but it’s still less than most tech companies. Quite a few people from my practice have left for fang or equivalent so I don’t doubt that I have the ability, it’s just a lot of money to not at least consider.
Work wise it’d be in my domain and an area I’d like to continue work on. However, it’s an area that many companies are investing in.
As you may be able to tell I think I’m leaning away but I was hoping other past data scientists who have made a transition to tech could add their perspectives
What's the area? Fairly technical work doesn't equate to SWE unless you're grinding LC and interview prepping
