Bain & Company Hi, I am currently looking to make a career shift from technical consulting ( in healthcare ) to healthcare management consulting. Currently pursuing MBA in healthcare to pursue the same. Any advice on what to do right to land a job/internship in the healthcare consulting space as a person with a tech background. Thank you :)

Are you enrolled? Deadlines are coming up
Trying to do this as well I hate tech consulting hours are good but I find the work draining
I think the best thing to do is complete your MBA. Once you have that you'll be a very solid candidate for healthcare consulting, especially if you do some practice and self-teaching about consulting in the mean time. Your tech background could potentially help you, but if not it's not bad to have as a non relevant starting off point.
Try to get an internship first. If you are not able to get into MBB at first, consider also boutique firms specialized in Healthcare (e.g. IQVIA) and then moving into MBB
I am trying to apply for some summer associate positions. But my main target is MBB. Can anyone here from MBB mentor and refer me? I am a quick learner and with a right guidance I believe I can go places :) thank you in advance
