I am mum to a young trans male and I really want to support him through life’s ups and downs, but am aware of society’s lack of understanding and empathy for the transgender community. I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public? (Drugs, sexual, inappropriate clothes, and sometimes like strip clubs- some parts). I know it is right to present us but I just feel it is not the right way to show who we are. There’s now a lawsuit in Texas challenging PREP. How much longer do y’all plan to live in the US? This is actually how I predicted this would unfold. That folks with moral objections would file a lawsuit like this, and then get it up to The Church for review, and then overturn Lawrence v Texas. This is just happening a lot faster than I thought.
