Hi! I would like to move to Switzerland, if possibile, in the future. I live in the US, double passport, so that part shouldn’t be difficult since I have already an European passport.

The question is how is raising a family in Switzerland? I speak English and Italian, not German or French, so that is one of my concerns. My other concern is working. Initially, I would be the only one working. Is it hard to find remote/hybrid jobs in product/tech (product manager type)?

I get so frustrated and annoyed when people make stupid common sense mistakes and I think it’s starting to affect my relationships. Don’t really know what to do.

What are your strategies for completing work efficiently? How do you figure out how long projects should take? A consistent piece of feedback on my yearly reviews has been that I over-bill & spend too much time on assignments. It’s something I actively work on, but I still have no concrete sense of how long I should spend on basic tasks (e.g., drafting a motion to dismiss). My firm is right to expect that I manage my time better as a mid-level associate. WFH has made my time management worse.

Do you think we’ll ever travel again or will we be remote forever?

Recommendations on an exceptional career coach who can help my husband? He works with his brother at a startup his brother founded (my husband is in-house counsel) but often finds himself belittled by his brother, cut out of conference calls and emails and generally feeling like he has no skills. He's an ivy league graduate and went to a great law school but for many reasons cannot leave this job right now. Looking for someone to help w/his confidence level and ways to approach his brother. With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then. I wouldn't say I am great at solving coding challenges but I believe with some practice I can get better.
