Hi, I've received an offer for a software engineer role with a company in Berlin. This is the TC they quoted, and I'm wondering if it's comparable for the area. 70k€ per year, no stock, and a relocation bonus of 2.5k€, as well as 1 month of housing in Berlin.

Interviewing with a small (50 people) boutique firm in a management position. They are in an industry I have 10 years of experience plus I have 5 years management consulting experience in B4 firm. Assuming the pay and potential bonus are reasonable what kind of challenges would I be in for? I already understand this would be a risk to join and help them grow but if I were successful I think it could be very rewarding.

Any advice for monitoring employees while working from home? Our phone system works from an app in our cells and we have remote access to our files and computers. So, I just fired my first employee as a manager and I'm heartbroken. He was a great, great person but after 6 months on a PIP he just wasn't cutting it skills-wise. I know he was the provider of the household and his wife didn't have a job since she was raising three young ones. Needless to say, I had to take off because I felt terrible, sick to my stomach. How do you deal with firing guilt? Is that a thing? I can't help but feeling like I did something wrong.

Burned out in current role. 10-plus years post-MBA experience in Corp Fin role unable to move up to Director due to lack of "scope" - limited to no opps. Currently, work 40-50 hours week (minimal to no weekends) and earn ~250 TC. Work day is "intense" - many quick turnaround projects from task to task.

Is it worth shopping around? Can I get promo to Director level at another Tech company, earn more and still maintain same level of hours (limited weekend work)? Less intense days possible?

What should someone expect in a data visualization code test? They told me to bring your own tool and we will provide a csv. Should this be very complicated? I know the basics for tableau but not a super user. It is for a senior manager of data science.
