Hi there!
I am writing here to get some suggestions and insights on the role of project manager and what more can I do to learn and grow in it.
I have just started my career, it's been 1.5 years to me working as Jr. Project Coordinator in a very niche industry (in India).
I am planning to switch by this year end but have little clue how plan further and go about things ahead.
It will be of great help if this community can share their experiences on this role and how to make progress in it.

Hi fishes,
Any help here, please

One of the things I will suggest is to try your hands at certifications.
There are a number of those which you can approach and can help you add up in your credentials.
I will suggest you go for Google Project Management Certification program as it not only lets you know the intricacies of the field but you will also get to know a good number of tools which you can add to your arsenal and can use in the future.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Does anyone recommend working in high pressure better salary(WFH IC Engineer role in a relatively big Financial services firm, but working hands of on many things that builds pressure) vs

job 2 or atleast offer (Senior Manager 3 days a months in office( Banking firm) minimum, people manager for 24/7 infra operations teams and new project)taking a salary cut of 8k in base and with better WLb( hr) says so in interview. I am too confused. On job security we all know we can't guarantee anything.

So was talking to this girl (we’re both mid late twenties) i met thru mutual friends and we hung out a few times/ texted a lot. I eventually had to move cross country and we slowly started texting less frequently & at a certain point she kinda ghosted me (lol I didnt pick up the signals). Recently found out I’m going to be going back to the same city in 6mo and theres a good chance I’ll run into her consistently since mutual friend groups/events. I dont want it to be awkward everytime…advice?

Curious if anyone else is or has been in the same boat. I started as an assistant at an entertainment law firm prior to passing the bar. Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. That was 1.5 years ago and I am still in the limbo of juggling my own workload + doing assistant roles for my supervisors. I have also had no increase in pay, which is a huge deal for me. Is this normal in the entertainment world? Any suggestions?
