Work unfortunately lol but me and my gf want to meet more like minded peeps! We enjoy casual drinks but not clubs too much and enjoy being outdoors! I think we’re going to “shoot the hooch” (float down chattahoochee on tubes) this weekend if anyone would like to join!

like

I’ll be there this weekend as well!

From college but I feel that I’ve kind of outgrown them. Kind of want to find more people in their 20s who don’t drink lol

like

23 and rarely drink, only last year senior year of college did I. Would rather be around people that don’t drink much because I am trying to stay super healthy post grad

I’m having such a hard time with this tbh. I’m from Atlanta area but have grown apart from most of my high school / college friends and feel super lonely these days :/ I try to be friendly and strike up conversations with neighbors but that’s been the extent of things

like

I’m from here as well and definitely down to hang out! I also experienced the same thing kind of growing apart from my childhood friends due to just life and every one doing their own thing.

Highschool and college lol

Joined a kickball team and now I’m in a 20 person group chat offering plans 7 nights a week. Lol

I’d join for sure! How about soccer leagues?

like

I’m bisexual, bicurious really cause just came out to my close people. Did you meet them from parades or like pride meet ups or what?

I wouldn’t say close friends but I’ve meet ppl through work and volunteering

like

Where do you volunteer?

Work, neighborhood activities, tennis leagues

like

Are there any free tennis leagues that you know of? Tryna get back into that lovely sport

My wife and I moved to Atlanta and didn't know anyone here. We built a house last year in a new neighborhood and became really close with our neighbors who pretty much all have kids the same age as ours

To everyone looking to expand their social circle try Bumble BFF. I met 2 of my now really close friends on there. I recommend it to everyone.

like

Lovely gonna get on it tonight when I’m lonely

From elementary school - high school!

like

Thank you 😭 and it’s only a few I was able to truly maintain. I’m surprised myself because I went to college in South Georgia and still kept in touch with my childhood friends. When I graduated, I moved back in Atlanta full time and we still are the best of friends even if it’s just the 4 of them, I am grateful for them.

I had connected once and they say that the conversations are strictly confidential.
Just wanted to know do they really keeps stuff confidential or can they inform my Manager regarding the personal conversations.

Has anyone been through a situation that you were in a terrible relationship ( stress, anger, fights, swears, physical abuse, ego clashes) and how did you resolve it? Some might have worked on and stayed in the relationship and some might have broken up. I am looking for answers from both sides. How did you stay/work on it and how did you break up and move on? Me and my partner have strong feelings for eachother and are almost inseparable despite going through so much.

Hi everyone I am relocating to Hyderabad next month. Even though I look forward to meeting new people I can’t seem to ignore the fact that I will move away from family. My family situation is already complicated, my mom and dad are not on good terms so we don’t live together and when I move it’ll get worse. I am financially independent but I feel guilty for not being there for them. Is there any possibility of getting transferred to Gurgaon office(a lot closer to my home)if I talk to my manager?

I have been teaching K for 5 years, but have been in early childhood education teaching preschool and first grade for 20 years. I am seeing such a change in the way my students are coming into school now and it is not a good change. My kiddos lack fine motor, gross motor, and basic language skills. They lack self control and emotion management. They are not ready to learn. They don’t even know how to sit down and eat snack at their tables! TLDR: Getting over your ex of 2.5 years ghosting you after they said they wanted to reconnect.

I was dating someone for about 2.5 years and then we broke up because of COVID and the long distance was making it too difficult to continue. The break up must’ve been like a 4-5 minute FaceTime because I was very distraught. After we broke up, she started seeing someone else but I was heartbroken and it’s taken me over a year to really get over everything and process those feelings. (Cont.)

I hate that I still want to hear from him. I just have no idea what I want him to say or what I want to say. I feel like if I get anywhere near him he’ll be able to sense my pain. Are we sure the no contact rule is only 21 days? I feel like I need 21 months.

Hello! I am being asked to create a "back to school" shopping list for my art class. What would you suggest asking for from parents? I'm moving to a new school with no former art program.

I give massive kudos to all the parents out there juggling work and home life. But it’s starting to feel like I pulled the short stick by not having a kid. Really struggling to pick up all of the slack from all of the colleagues that do have kids and feel like the expectation is that parents should turn off while the rest are working from 7am - 2am everyday to make up for it.
